VIRTUAL SPACE DESIGN FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
Working in the world of optics thanks to the first project, we approached and interested in this field by attending fairs such as MIDO (Milan), SILMO (Paris) and ARAB HEALTH (Dubai) where we noticed how the orientation of this environment is increasingly aimed at virtual reality and augmented reality.
Through the INNOVAZIONE SOSTANTIVO FEMMINILE of the Lazio Region, which the start-up was awarded on May 27, 2020, we are working on a virtual reality project called TWIST. The goal of this project is to create customized environments in virtual reality and with support avatars for the sale of products. In these environments, the sale does not become just a mere commercial operation, but is transformed for the end customer into a sensory experience through which he can move into a real shop, talk to the staff, play and win discount coupons, do interviews, etc. Specifically, the primary application concerns the construction of virtual optical shops to be able to sell contact lenses and solutions for their maintenance in different commercial channels, for example pharmacies and shopping centers, making the purchase activity not only functional and technological but also fun. In the future, the end customer will be able to proceed with the measurement of eyesight, the tear filter and other simple analyzes related to the eye that can be done without the help of the ophthalmologist or contact specialist.
This basic experiment can be applied to other commercial activities by customizing the needs.
